ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI MENGGUNAKAN HEALTH BELIEF MODEL PADA PETANI DI KECAMATAN PATALASSANG, KABUPATEN GOWA

Abstract


Pendahuluan : Petani merupakan profesi dengan potensi bahaya yang tinggi, baik dari segi keselamatan dan kesehatan seperti keracunan pestisida, luka akibat terkena peralatan kerja dan potensi bahaya lainnya. Kurangnya penggunaan APD pada petani penyemprot akan meningkatkan risiko keracunan akut pada petani. Tujuan penelitian : untuk menganalisis dimensi utama dari health belief model yang paling berpengaruh dengan penggunaan APD pada petani. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini merupakan observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study dan analisis multivariat digunakan untuk mengetahui dimensi utama yang paling berpengaruh dengan penggunaan APD pada petani dengan menggunakan analisis regresi logistik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh petani di Dusun Saile, Kabupaten Gowa yang jumlahnya 76 orang. Tehnik penarikan sampel menggunakan exchaustive sampling yang mana keseluruhan populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian.  Hasil penelitian : Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel perceived severity (p = 0,001) merupakan dimensi yang paling berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan APD pada petani di Dusun Saile. Saran : Diharapkan kepada petani agar selalu menerapkan perilaku aman dalam hal ini penggunaan APD, terutama dalam proses penggunaan pestisida selama bekerja. Perlu perhatian khusus dari pemerintah setempat dalam hal sosialisasi tentang penggunaan APD kepada para petani agar dapat terbentuk persepsi yang baik sehingga perilaku aman dalam bekerja dapat terbentuk di petani
