Design of Information Systems for Monitoring Commodity in Food Prices Based on Website

Abstract


The rapid development of technology makes technology a necessity important for humans. The world of agriculture is one that needs to use development technology to advance the quality of agriculture. Agricultural output is always related to activities sale and purchase and very closely with food prices. Food price data issued by an institution reliable is needed for all levels both for transactions of farmers, producers and consumers, The initial data is used as a benchmark for food stability so this information is very needed. With this need, a food price monitoring system was developed using a distributed information system both online and offline, this research method using a variety of literature study methods, observation methods, and interview methods.
This research consists of several stages, among others, system requirements analysis, network analysis, needs analysis the user then continues to implement the system design. This design is illustrated with UML and ERD. The system design is implemented in website environments based on PHP and using MySQL database. Finally, a number of functions were tested for evaluating system performance
