STUDY DESKRIPTIF PELAKSANAAN ORAL CARE DI BLUD RS H.PADJONGA DAENG NGALLE KABUPATEN TAKALAR
Abstract
Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran pelaksaan oral care, berdasarkan instrumen skala BOAS (Beck Oral Assesment Scale) dan uji kultur kolonisasi bakteri di BLUD RS H. Padjonga Dg. Ngalle KabupatenTakalar. Metode penelitian: quasi eksprimen dengan pendekatan pre-post test design. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 26 responden, yang terdiri atas kelompok kontrol dan kelompok intervensi. pada kelompok intervensi dilakukukan observasi pelaksanaan oral care yang dilakukan oleh perawat yang di ruang Intensive Care Unit (ICU) dan pelaksanaan oral care diruang Interna dengan menggunakan Beck oral Assessment scale (BOAS) selama tiga hari setelah dilakukan pelaksanaan oral care dan kelompok kontrol dengan menggunakan pengambilan kultur bakteri dengan cara Swab kultur bakter, pada hari pertama (pre), 30 menit sebelum pasien makan dan hari ketiga (post) setelah oral care sesuai dengan SOP di ICU dan Interna di BLUD RS H.Padjonga Daeng Ngalle Kabupaten Takalar. Sampel diperoleh dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan penurunan kolonisasi bakteri antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol, yaitu mean difference jumlah bakteri pada 10 responden menggunakan pasta gigi dengan rata-rata 204.684.820,0±121284082.1. Jumlah bakteri pada 10 responden menggunakan betadine cair dengan mean difference 114.220.000,0±88.888.116,94. Pelaksanaan metode oral care menggunakan air hangat pada 3 responden dengan mean difference 177.700.000,0±50.711.635.75. Sedangkan pada 3 responden yang tidak menggunakan oral care dengan mean difference 129.633.333±345.818.541,0. Rekomendasi: Pelaksanaan oral care sangat penting dilakukan untuk mencegah infeksi mulut dan kolonisasi bakteri yang dapat memperpanjang lama rawat inap pasien.
