HUBUNGAN KOMUNIKASI RESPONSIF IBU DENGAN PRAKTIK PEMEBRIAN ASI DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS MASAMBA KABUPATENN LUWU UTARA

Komunikasi responsif ibu merupakan kemampuan ibu dalam mengenali, memahami, dan merespons isyarat serta kebutuhan bayi secara tepat. Komunikasi responsif yang baik dapat mendukung terjalinnya interaksi positif antara ibu dan bayi serta berperan dalam keberhasilan praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan komunikasi responsif ibu dengan praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Masamba Kabupaten Luwu Utara.
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional dan desain cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 57 responden yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner komunikasi responsif ibu dan kuesioner praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi responsif ibu sebagian besar berada pada kategori baik sebanyak 38 responden (66,7%), sedangkan kategori cukup sebanyak 19 responden (33,3%). Praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif menunjukkan bahwa responden dengan kategori baik sebanyak 35 responden (61,4%), sedangkan kategori cukup sebanyak 22 responden (38,6%). Hasil analisis uji Chi-Square diperoleh nilai Pearson Chi-Square sebesar 7,255 dengan p-value = 0,007 (p < 0,05), yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara komunikasi responsif ibu dengan praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif. Ibu dengan komunikasi responsif yang baik cenderung memiliki praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif yang lebih baik. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya peningkatan kemampuan ibu dalam mengenali, memahami, dan merespons kebutuhan bayi sebagai salah satu upaya mendukung keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif.
