Peer Review Process

Every submitted manuscript undergoes a comprehensive editorial and peer-review process to ensure scientific quality and publication integrity.

Initial Editorial Screening

The Editorial Office evaluates each submission for:

1. relevance to the journal's scope;
2. compliance with author guidelines and manuscript format;
3. completeness of submission documents; and
4. plagiarism screening.

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's basic requirements may be rejected without external review.

Double-Blind Peer Review

Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent reviewers using a double-blind peer-review system, in which both authors' and reviewers' identities remain anonymous throughout the review process.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

1. originality and novelty;
2. scientific significance;
3. methodological rigor;
4. ethical compliance;
5. clarity of presentation; and
6. relevance to nursing and health sciences.

Editorial Decision

Based on reviewers' recommendations, the Editor may issue one of the following decisions:

1. Accept
2. Minor Revision
3. Major Revision
4. Reject

The Editor-in-Chief holds the final responsibility for all publication decisions.

The average review process takes approximately 4–8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the timeliness of authors' revisions.
