Publication Ethics

Patria Artha Journal of Nursing Science adheres to the ethical standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and promotes integrity throughout the publication process.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are expected to:

  1. submit original and authentic work;
  2. present research findings honestly without fabrication or falsification;
  3. properly acknowledge all sources;
  4. avoid plagiarism and duplicate publications;
  5. disclose any conflicts of interest;
  6. obtain ethical approval for studies involving human participants or animals when applicable; and
  7. ensure that all listed authors have made substantial contributions to the manuscript.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

  1. provide objective, constructive, and timely reviews;
  2. maintain confidentiality of manuscripts;
  3. identify relevant published work not cited by the authors;
  4. declare any conflicts of interest; and
  5. refrain from using unpublished information for personal benefit.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for:

  1. making publication decisions based solely on scholarly merit;
  2. ensuring a fair and unbiased review process;
  3. maintaining confidentiality throughout the editorial process;
  4. addressing allegations of publication misconduct; and
  5. safeguarding the integrity of the academic record.
